PROJECT-1

OVERVIEW

This project proposes the development of cooperation between institutions through joint training and research programs on issues related to radiation. The two major categories of radiation ionizing radiation and electromagnetic radiation is the physical object of the project. Under the cooperation program measurement activities can be developed, investigating the effects and organizing environmental monitoring stations in wider geographical arc B. -N. Aegean - Cyprus.

The way forward for the project provides significant benefits to the populations to their areas and to local authorities. It provides solutions to issues of the local communities. Finally, by establishing a Network of Environmental Radiation Control will shield the east and strategic critical end of the European Union, with the continuous monitoring of radioactivity levels. Cooperation signed between the Waste Management Laboratory of the University of the Aegean Environment Division and the Biomedical Research Foundation of Cyprus (English terminology Biomedical Resesrch Foundation abbreviated BRF).
