HELLENIC FUNDING

The following Greek Projects have been implemented through funding from Hellenic resources:

1. Research program of the University of Athens entitled "COMPARATIVE ASSESSMENT OF THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE HUMAN BODY WITH MEASUREMENTS WHOLE-BODY RADIATION AND ADUAL X-RAY BSORPTION" the managed b (DEXA)",  Account for Funds and Research of the National University of Athens.

2.Research program E 061/95/195 of the Ministry of Health entitled "SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT PROCESSING AND ANALYSIS OF IMAGES WITH ULTRASOUNDS FOR THE EARLY DIAGNOSIS OF PROSTATE CANCER" , Financial Department of the Hippocratic Hospital of Athens.

3. Research program ATHINA 2004 ntitled "INVESTIGATION PROPERTIES OF SCINTILLATORS FOR IMAGING AND OPTIMIZATION OF TOMOGRAPHIC MEDICAL IMAGE", Account for Funds and Research of the TEI of Athens.

OVERVIEW

The following projects have been funded in the framework of co-funding from the European Social Fund (80%) and the Hellenic State (20%):

1.EPEAEK Archimedes I entitled "Study of phosphate for use in radiation detection systems in medical imaging".

2.EPEAEK Archimedes I entitled "Study of factors affecting the production of healthy and safe food with advanced techniques".

3.EPEAEK Archimedes I entitled "Development of film for using high resolution displays near infrared".

4.EPEAEK Archimedes II entitled "Experimental investigation and simulation techniques Monte Carlo material detected radiation, used in diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine".

5.EPEAEK Pythagoras entitled "Study of the effect of new phosphors in the performance of medical imaging detectors and the radiation dose".

1st and 2nd EU funding framework

Under the 1st and 2nd funding framework of the European Union the following project has been funded:
